Looking for something to do with the kids this week without spending the entire day wandering around a casino? Families can explore an indoor planetarium, make lava lamps, attend pool parties, watch family movies, meet Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse, try hands-on science activities and catch free programs at libraries and recreation centers across Southern Nevada.

Monday, July 13
Dino Safari: A Walk-Thru Adventure

📍 Springs Preserve

Grab a passport and walk through a world filled with life-size dinosaurs from all seven continents. The experience combines educational displays, interactive activities and plenty of opportunities for dinosaur-loving kids to inspect every prehistoric detail.
Dino Safari is also available Thursday through Sunday during regular Springs Preserve hours.

Cardboard Boat Regatta

This may be one of the few occasions when parents are encouraged to let their children climb into a cardboard box and push away from solid ground.
