Our casual Chicago-Style Restaurant seeks a friendly, upbeat Host.

Host Responsibilities include:

· Greet customers as soon as they walk through the door

· Provide patrons with accurate wait-time estimates during busy periods

· Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment

· Seat guests and place table settings to ensure ideal speed of service

· Rotate seating between different sections to ensure even workloads for wait-staff

· Assist with opening/closing tasks

· Learn food and beverage menu to provide guest with accurate information

· Take to-go and pick-up orders

· Encourage up-selling of orders for higher revenue

· Answer phones and schedule reservations

Host Qualifications and Skills:

· 16+ years or older

· Energetic, Friendly, Well-Spoken

· Flexible schedule: weekdays, evening shifts, weekends, and holidays

· Basic math skills

· Ability to multi-task

· Ability to remain calm under pressure

· Thoroughness and attention to details

· Team player who’s proactive in looking for ways to help out other staff

· Ability to obtain required permits and certifications for food and beverage

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour
